I am now working as a Fellow for Kiva.org, placed with a Mexican microfinance organization doing great work to alleviate poverty on the U.S. ā Mexico border. For more info on Kiva, go to www.kiva.org.
The blog delves some into the microfinance work Iām doing here, pulling in all of my posts on the Kiva website. Aside from this, it describes the beauties and oddities of living on the U.S. ā Mexico border. I am a wanna-be anthropologist, a trained urbanist (whatever that means), and a diehard lover of idiosyncratic details. I like writing about questions about social justice when I can do so coherently. The blog combines these strains. It is usually rated PG-13, with occasionally profanity and almost no frontal nudity.
